During my recent stay at Thanh Lan, located in Quận 5, I appreciated the tranquil environment that provided a much-needed respite. The serene setting is ideal for travelers seeking quietude after a day of exploration. Upon arrival, I found the staff quite helpful, attentively assisting with luggage—a thoughtful touch that I noticed right away. The room was comfortable, although lacking natural light and needing a bit of dusting. I enjoyed lounging on the terrace, a perfect spot to unwind. The hotel’s proximity to local cafes and eateries brings an authentic taste of Vietnam, while being just a 20-minute taxi ride from the train station. While nightlife seekers may prefer District 1, Thanh Lan offers a calm space, especially ideal for those willing to embrace the local language and culture.
